1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Lightsquad ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lightsquad. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Lightsquad is a mobile application designed to provide:

• Accountability tools and daily check-ins
• Private accountability groups
• Spiritual activities including scripture reading, prayer, and verse memorization
• Progress tracking and achievement systems
• Community support and resources

The App is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment. If you are experiencing serious issues with addiction, please seek professional help.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lightsquad. Users under 18 should have parental consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem inappropriate or harmful.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

Lightsquad offers subscription-based access to premium features. Current plans include:

• Monthly subscription
• Annual subscription
• 7-day free trial for new subscribers

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

5.3 Free Trial

The 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers only. You may cancel anytime during the trial without charge. If not cancelled, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

5.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.

5.5 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your payment information is handled securely by these platforms and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Share personal information of others without consent
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the App's security
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
• Share sexually explicit content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All App content, features, and functionality (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Lightsquad and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (check-ins, messages, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

7.3 Biblical Content

Scripture quotations are from various Bible translations. All rights to scripture content belong to the respective publishers and translators.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results from using the App will be effective or reliable
• All errors will be corrected

The App is not professional medical or therapeutic advice. Consult qualified professionals for addiction treatment.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTSQUAD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to liability.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lightsquad harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
